Yr Ysgwrn’s opening hours vary from season to season.
Opening hours
We are closed to the public over the winter until April 2025. However, schools and small groups are welcome to contact us via email yr.ysgwrn@eryri.llyw.cymru to arrange a visit. We will also be open for various events over the coming months.
Visiting Yr Ysgwrn
You can visit the Yr Ysgwrn site free of charge which includes picturesque outdoor spaces to enjoy family picnics, a cafe selling tea, coffee, drinks and cakes and a museum shop.
You can also take advantage of the walking paths around the farmland.
Entry to the Farmhouse
If you’d like to visit the Yr Ysgwrn farmhouse, you will need to book a guided tour in advance. The tour will give you an incredible insight into rural Welsh life at the turn of the 20th century led by one of Yr Ysgwrn’s seasonal staff.
Tours are held on specific times throughout the day. Entry to other areas of the Yr Ysgwrn site, such as the shop, café, exhibition and outdoor spaces are free.
