We’re grateful for the high number of enquiries we receive from individuals who wish to donate artefacts to Yr Ysgwrn, however, we cannot accept all the offered items. We can only accept items under very specific circumstances and as a first step they must conform with our Collections Policy and be relevant to at least one of the following themes:
- Hedd Wyn
- The First World War
- Agricultural Heritage
- Welsh language culture
- Social history of the turn of the C20
Please note that the decision whether or not to accept artefacts is a discretionary matter for the Yr Ysgwrn Board. We respectfully ask you not to bring artefacts to Yr Ysgwrn without contacting us beforehand, as our staff and volunteers won’t be able to accept them.
